WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis involves the use of positive
suggestions to help change the way we feel or behave. In Hypnosis we access a trance state. The trance state is similar to the
pleasant, comfortable and dreamy state we feel when we are just about to fall asleep or how we may feel when we have
just awoken after a good nights sleep, or when we are daydreaming or watching a movie.
We experience trance states often
during the day, such as when when we are driving and find when
we arrive at our destination and sometimes find that we can't remember most of the journey. We know that
we made all of the right moves at the right time and arrived at our destination safely, but probably can't really recall most
of the journey.
WHAT TO EXPECT
After taking an initial Case History
from you I will then present back to you to you positive suggestion for the changes that you have requested. During the
Hypnosis session and its associated relaxation your subconscious mind is more likely to accept these positive suggestions
and to begin these positive changes, exactly as you have requested.
At all times during the session you will be fully aware of what is happening around you, and you may
also be aware of being pleasantly detached and focused and have a feeling of relaxation and comfort too.
